One extra thing: your phone also needs to be unlocked (not tied to a single network). Phones bought outright or on a finished contract almost always are.
What to expect
Your normal SIM stays put
Nothing comes out of the SIM tray. Monthy is downloaded, so your phone ends up with two lines running at once.
Your number doesn't change
Calls, texts and WhatsApp all stay on the number you already have. Monthy only carries data.
You choose which line uses data
After you set Monthy up, point mobile data at it for a few days, then switch back on reset day.
