How it works
No contract. No network switch. No faff.
Keep your normal number and mobile contract. Monthy is a simple bridge between now and your reset day: see the price, pay once, get on with your day.
- 1
Tell us your reset day
Choose the date your normal mobile data comes back. It's usually the same date every month — you'll find it in your network's app under your allowance.
- 2
We work out the days
Monthy finds the right combination of data to cover exactly the time you need — you just see the days and the price.
- 3
Install once
Pay, then install one Monthy eSIM onto your phone. Set it as your mobile data line and you're covered until reset day.
Installing it takes a minute
iPhone
- 1.Open Settings, then tap Mobile Service.
- 2.Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code.
- 3.Scan the Monthy QR code on this page.
- 4.Label it “Monthy” and keep your normal data line for calls and texts.
- 5.Set Monthy as your mobile data line when you need it.
Android
- 1.Open Settings, then Connections.
- 2.Tap SIM Manager, then Add eSIM.
- 3.Choose Scan QR code from service provider.
- 4.Scan the Monthy QR code on this page.
- 5.Set Monthy as your mobile data SIM. Keep calls and texts on your normal SIM.
Your phone needs to support eSIM and be free to use any network. Most phones from 2019 onwards do.
Common questions
- Do I lose my phone number?
- No. Your normal SIM keeps your number, your calls and your texts. Monthy is a second, data-only line that sits alongside it.
- What happens on reset day?
- Your normal data comes back and your Monthy expires the day after. Switch your mobile data back to your usual line and that's that — nothing to cancel.
- What if I run out again?
- If your reset day moves, add extra days in My Monthy — they go onto the eSIM you've already installed, and you'll see the price before you add them.
Ready when you are.
