Nothing arrives in the post. Monthy is a second data connection your phone downloads itself — it takes about a minute, and your normal SIM stays exactly where it is.
Two lines, one phone
Your normal SIM stays default for calls and texts. Monthy handles mobile data only.
Switch whenever
Flip your data line back to your usual SIM the moment your allowance resets — or just let Monthy expire.
No physical SIM
Nothing arrives in the post. The eSIM installs from a QR code on your screen.
Common questions
- What's an eSIM?
- A SIM built into your phone that's activated by scanning a code, rather than a plastic card you slot in.
- Will having two SIMs drain my battery?
- Barely. Keeping both lines active uses a little more power, and you can turn Monthy off in Settings when you're done.
- Can I remove Monthy afterwards?
- Yes. Delete the eSIM in your phone's SIM settings once it's expired.
- Do I need Wi-Fi to install it?
- You need some connection to download the eSIM profile — Wi-Fi is easiest when your data has run out.
