iPhone
Extra data on iPhone.
Every iPhone from the XS onwards can hold a second, digital SIM. Monthy uses it to top your data up until your reset day: Settings, Mobile Service, Add eSIM, scan, done.

Pick your reset day and we'll work out the rest — you'll see the exact price before you pay anything.
Nothing arrives in the post. Monthy is a second data connection your phone downloads itself — it takes about a minute, and your normal SIM stays exactly where it is.
Settings → Mobile Service
Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code, and point the camera at the code we give you after checkout.
Label it Monthy
Naming the line makes it obvious which one is carrying your data when you check Settings later.
Set as mobile data
Choose Monthy under Mobile Data, and leave your normal line as default for calls and iMessage.
Common questions
- Which iPhones support eSIM?
- iPhone XS, XR and every model since, as long as the handset isn't network-locked.
- Will iMessage and FaceTime still use my number?
- Yes, as long as your normal line stays selected for iMessage and FaceTime in Settings.
- Can I turn Monthy off temporarily?
- Yes. Toggle the line off under Mobile Service and your iPhone goes back to your usual data.
- What if the QR code won't scan?
- Use Enter Details Manually and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown on your installation page.
